Project introduction

For my next project on the module short shorts I decided I wanted to make a short minimalist animation of a magical sphere, that would look dynamic and capture the viewers imagination.

For this project I plan to use after effects and a lot of practical work using real life images and CGI to make something polished yet with natural randomness.

I wanted to make the sphere change colour and it to emit beams of light using particle effects, the way I decided I wanted to do it is taking images of torchlights through water and using animation effects in After Effects to make it spherical and animate it.

I will then animate the colour using hue and saturation changes in the program and add particle effects and lens distortion to make it more exciting and dynamic.
